IT Support Technician

Hybrid role working in Bristol and remotely


Kallidus is looking for an internal IT Support Technician to join the Kallidus IT Team based in Bristol that currently supports an expanding user base of over 300 users, located in Europe and North America.


People Success is key to what we do, and the IT Team achieves this by building relationships with colleagues in all departments across Kallidus by ensuring technology does its job, whilst colleagues do theirs.


The purpose of the role is to support the IT Manager in ensuring high levels of service are provided to colleagues, by being first point of contact for all IT related queries at a user level.


The IT Support Technician will be responsible for responding to IT Support Tickets that are raised by colleagues within set SLAs and manage user expectations.

Triage and troubleshoot client problems and escalate when required, in addition to undertakingIT projects.

Our headquarters are based in Bristol, with the requirement to travel to our Cirencester office when necessary.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and responding to IT Support Ticket requests received from colleagues.
  • Configuration & fulfilment of IT Equipment for new starters.
  • Procurement of all internal IT assets.
  • Organising the return of IT Equipment from offboarded staff.
  • Maintain Asset Management Records of IT Equipment.
  • Production of video "How to Guides" to demonstrate use of key IT Systems on all operating systems. This content will also be used as part of our IT Induction eLearning.
  • Assist IT Manager with delivering IT projects.
  • Maintaining ISO27001 Policies.
  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal, with focus on attention to detail.

Experience

  • Handson experience of Windows & Apple Operating Systems (Desktop & Server).
  • Strong background in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience in the Administration of Microsoft 365 Apps:
  • Microsoft 365 Admin Centre
  • Azure AD
  • Exchange
  • Teams
  • OneDrive
  • SharePoint
  • Understanding of Networking (WAN/LAN/VPN, TCP/IP, Protocols / Ports)
  • Experience of working on or with an IT Helpdesk providing IT Support to clients.
  • Full driving licence is essential as travel is required for visits to our Bristol and Cirencester Offices.

Desirable

  • Helpdesk Ticketing Systems
  • Scripting and automation skills (Powershell / Azure CLI)
  • Familiarity with Ninja One (formerly Ninja RMM)
  • Experience of Microsoft Intune and AutoPilot
  • Experience with Sophos Central & Intercept X
  • Awareness of the configuration of Sonicwall Firewalls
  • Understanding of ISO 27001 policies
  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard check or Security Clearance Check will be undertaken upon offer of employment
