Locum Band 7 Neuro Occupational Therapist - Oxfordshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Oxford. They are seeking a qualified Therapist with previous Neuro experience. Please contact the team for a full job description.

Maintain a clinical caseload of highly complex patients as an autonomous practitioner.

Contribute to team leadership, service development, and quality assurance in acute neurosciences services.
Devise and oversee the delivery of service improvement projects seeking advances in therapeutic and rehabilitative practice.
To engage and participate in the operational, governance and research activities of the Therapies clinical service unit
Develop a hyperacute rehabilitation pathway to maximise the recovery opportunities and outcomes for those with moderate to severe neurological impairment
Become research active supporting the department's research and development priorities through the Oxford Allied Health Professions Research and Innovation Unit (AHPRU).
Degree in Occupational Therapy
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Trained in supervision and appraisal of staff and students
Experience at Band 6 in neurological rehabilitation
Evidence of participation in clinical audit and quality improvement projects with findings integrated into practice

Position Requirements

HCPC Registered
3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
Full time hours (Monday
Friday)
Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Neuro setting
