We are currently seeking Bar Team Members to join the team at a fantastic four star hotel based in Cornwall.

Salary - £11.44 Hour.

Live in accommodation is available.


The Role

  • Provide topnotch service for drinks, bar snacks, and afternoon teas in the Cocktail Bar, lounges, and gardens.
  • Manage lunchtime and evening table service by welcoming guests, taking drink orders, and handling casual dining requests in the lounge/bar area.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the bar and lounge areas, including clearing tables, wiping surfaces, fluffing cushions, rearranging chairs, and disposing of waste.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and helpful manner, engaging in conversation when appropriate.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints during service, taking necessary action and reporting back to management.
  • Ensure open fires are maintained during winter months for guest comfort.
  • Prepare lounges for various events such as functions, weddings, and conferences, and attend to conference needs according to provided function sheets.
  • Offer assistance to guests by providing information and helpful advice about local attractions and activities.
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and ensuring they are directed to the correct departments, including signing off when necessary.

About You

  • Previous bar experience is mandatory.
  • Experience in a hotel is desired.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Falmouth: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employerprovided relocation package (preferred)

Experience:


  • Bar: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
