Position:
Door Supervisor (Friday and Saturday Nights - 52 Weeks a Year)

Responsibilities:

As a Door Supervisor with us, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of both patrons and staff during the lively Friday and Saturday nights throughout the entire year at Owd Joss


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular safety and security checks of the premises
  • Verifying patron identification to ensure legal age for entry
  • Effectively managing crowds during peak periods
  • Responding promptly to incidents or emergencies
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all patrons

Additional Duties:

In addition to the core responsibilities, you'll also be responsible for meticulous paperwork and record-keeping


This includes:
-
Filling in Necessary Paperwork: Accurately complete all required paperwork related to incidents, checks, and other security-related tasks.

Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed and organized records to ensure a comprehensive overview of security activities.


Qualifications:


  • Preferred: Previous experience in security or loss prevention
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment with shifting priorities
  • Capacity to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively

Uniform Requirements:

At New Concept Security, we believe in maintaining a professional and cohesive appearance.

Our team members are required to wear the following uniform:


  • White shirt
  • Black pants (no joggers, jeans, or combats)
  • Black shoes or boots (no trainers)


Additionally, we provide a company jacket, waistcoat, and tie to complete the uniform, reflecting our commitment to excellence in security services.

Salary:
£12.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 11 per week


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hyde: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- security: 1 year (preferred)


Language:

Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • SIA (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
