Description
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Clerk, to assist with bookkeeping for our hotel and golf resort and restaurants.
You will be working within our accounts team based at our office in Etchinghill.Some of the responsibilities of the role:
- To check and post date on Sage
- To obtain appropriate authorisation to satisfy internal and external audit requirements
- To process and prepare BACS payments
- To process and control the purchase ledger
- To repost errors and resolve queries liaising with other departments.
What we're looking for:
- Previous purchase ledger experience with a good understanding of the process
- Previous experience using Sage 50 Accounts and Xero preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skill
- Good IT skills including Excel and Word
Salary:
£25,000.00 per year
