The Slieve GP Surgery is a group of family practice offices located in Birmingham. We are seeking a
receptionist to join our team.
We are looking for a
receptionist to manage our front desk and greet guests and call patients.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and guests that enter the office
- Answer and direct phone calls as appropriate
- Schedule appointments and provide information about services
- Check patients in and out, collect payments, and verify insurance benefits
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing documents
- Assist with office operations as needed
Desired Experience and Education
- Previous experience in a medical office or other healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology (e.g., ICD10) is preferred but not required.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred but not required.
- Proven customer support skills.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
Job Type:
Part-time
Pay:
From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
Benefits:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Birmingham, B20 2NR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
