(30 hours per week flexible over Monday - Friday)


Drayton Manor Resort have a new and exciting opportunity for a HR & Employee Relations Coordinator to join our existing HR team to provide a solution focussed approached to employee relations.

The main purpose of the role is supporting the Talent & Alignment Manager to provide ER guidance, covering all aspects of the employee life cycle and People Management processes including supporting, coaching and advising Managers and Leaders in their management of ER cases.


Some of the Key duties will include;

  • General HR & ER administration tasks
  • Be the first point of contact for Managers, leaders and Employees regarding employee relations inquiries and questions
  • Support with providing advice on employment law and company policies and procedures.
  • Support the endtoend and timely closure of employee relations cases (disciplinary, performance, absence, grievance, absence management etc.)
  • Analysing trends in relation to ER issues in order to proactively deliver training as and when required.
  • Keep up to date with employment law and best practices, and identify opportunities for improvement to our employee relations policies and procedures.
  • Use Occupational Health appropriately within people relations casework and write referrals to OH Advisors

Skills & experience required:


  • Experience in supporting and/or dealing with an array of complex ER issues in a generalist or ER focussed role
  • HR & Training best practices
  • Employee Relations knowledge or keen interest in Employee Relations
  • Keen interest in Employment Law.
  • Strong understanding of and respect for confidentiality.
  • Skilled at working with multiple projects and priorities
  • CIPD (or equivalent) qualified or willing to work towards
  • Worked as a HR Advisor, ER Advisor or similar within a HR Share Service environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proactive approach and growth mindset
  • Able to work to strict deadlines and successfully manage multiple projects
  • Excellent presentation, planning & organisation skills
