When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family.
Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help children, young people and their families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them.
About the role
The Campaigns Officer at Young Lives vs Cancer will help to deliver public facing campaigns on the things that matter most to children and young people with cancer and their families.
You'll work with the rest of the Policy and Influencing team so that our campaigns are evidence based and complement our Public Affairs work to make change in each UK nation.
About you
You'll be:
- Full of ideas about campaigning activities and approaches.
- Aware of different types of approaches, including digital and online campaigning.
- Able to communicate passionately and clearly about our campaign issues, with loads of different people including children and young people and their families.
- Enthusiastic about social change and have some experience in campaigning activities.
