Location:
London/Leeds

Contracts length: 6 months (extensions in place if needed)

Pay rate:
Circa £475 per day, inside IR35
Our client has been serving the households, businesses, and communities of Britain for over 250 years.

They offer a comprehensive range of financial products and services - including current accounts, savings, mortgages, loans, and credit cards.

This is a great opportunity to join a newly formed analytical team that sits within the payment's area of the bank.

Their job is to analyse and interrogate data around things like debit card usage spend and travel and using the data insights to communicateback to the business where they can create new campaigns to attract more debit card usage, for example.

Job purpose

Provide insightful, high quality complex information, advice and guidance exercising control and tailored to senior stakeholder needs EITHER through managing a small team AND/OR operating as an analytical/research professional.

Key Accountabilities:

Provide accurate and robust data and reporting to support business decisions and performance monitoring
Produce analysis and proposals to shape and define the current and future product strategy
Proactively uses data available to develop a better understanding of our customers and their behaviours.
Maintain appropriate controls and procedures to ensure compliance with group standards and best practice e.g., data quality and consistency

Essential Skills and Knowledge Areas

Utilising tools including SAS/SQL to extract & summarise data and provide insight and analysis.
Experience on analytical projects, collaborating closely, and communicating with business partners
Confident with working in a fastpaced and demanding environment
Competency in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Selfmotivated and able to effectively prioritise workload
Experiences of BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI (helpful but not essential)
