Our client based in Denham, Buckinghamshire, are looking for an experience Sub-assembly Inspector on a permanent basis to support their business as a world leader in the design and manufacture of ejection seats for over 70 years.

Role:
To undertake a variety of processes for product verification of parts and components.
Ensure that all Inspection activities are delivered efficiently in accordance with the production schedule and MBA standard Operating Procedures and H&S requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. To carry out testing/inspection of components using a variety of processes and techniques in accordance Quality Assurance Instructions and or technical specifications / documents
2. To generate, maintain inspection documentation in accordance with the relevant Company Quality Assurance policy
3. Use SAP to record all work in progress and track processing of components
4. To assist in the successful implementation of on going Lean Initiatives ( CI,5S activities)
5.

To handle materials, goods and components appropriately to comply with safety regulations and handling / machining instructionsSkills required:

Experience of using mechanical/Electronic measuring/visual measuring aids
Experience of using Inspection Tools and Equipment
Experience of using hand tools
Basic PC (Microsoft Office) and SAP skills
Aerospace background is desirable

Team player with the ability to work independently
Basic administration routines

Offer:

Salary range: £27,000£31,000/yr
Monday to Thursday
8 am to 5 pm
Friday
8 am to 12 noon
Permanent, full time position
9% noncontributory pension scheme
