About Us - Napier Catering are an established family run catering business and proud to operate a staff canteen for a large company in Portbury.

In this role of kitchen assistant / front of house you will be working under the guidance of our friendly Chef Manager with the following;

To support the Chef in food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting and cooking foodstuffs, prepare salads, as requested).
To ensure that the kitchen and related areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition at all times; observing and maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards.
Topping up foods on the hot servery counters.
To assist the front of house in busy periods with serving customers breakfast and lunch.

Requirements:

- good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
To work as part of a team and assist in the smooth running of the staff canteen.
Be punctual, reliable and maintain the high standards of the current team.

This role is Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm.

Salary:
£11.50-£11.95 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
