Department overview:


The primary function of the Quality Assurance Unit is to monitor procedures, facilities, and studies for compliance with Good Laboratory Practice.


To facilitate effective monitoring, it is necessary for QA to be independent and not involved in the conduct of regulatory studies.

QA inspect study procedures, laboratory processes and audit facilities on a regular basis.

In addition, every study reportproduced is audited by QA for accuracy, completeness, and overall compliance with GLP.QA act as a central source of information on the GLP regulations and requirements offer advice and guidance on these matters.

The Company GLP training programme is organisedand presented by QA staff.


Main responsibilities:


We are currently seeking a Head of Quality Assurance to lead our team and help to further improve systems and processes within the business.

Within this role your main responsibilities will include ensuring that all operations conform to and comply withGLP regulations, developing new procedures, processes and key performance indicators and identifying areas of risk and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

You will also liaise with regulatory agencies,host regulatory audits, and develop QualityManagement Systems.

This is also an excellent opportunity to help define and work on the broader objective of driving companywide continuous improvement initiatives.
