Careers Advisor - National Service
Covering Black Country

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm


Responsibilities:


  • Motivating targeted business activity and quality of service, whilst holding a reduced caseload proving IAG excellence to customers
  • To coach and guide advisors through the quality observation process and communicate development plans
  • KPI, quality and compliance targets on both a team and individual level
  • Attending meetings with the area Manager on the team's results
  • To support their progress into learning, work, or progression in work
  • Work with a variety of organisations to generate customer referrals to meet targets
  • Manage a customer caseload
  • Record all interactions on the MI database
  • Operate from a variety of locations including Jobcentre Plus, training and education providers, community providers and local career hubs
  • Attend meetings and training

Skills and Qualifications required:


  • Have an understanding and able to demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities and diversity
  • To be able to demonstrate an awareness, understanding to the protection and safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults
  • Able to lead the team and act a role model
  • Experience in delivery of careers advice to adults individually or in groups, employed and unemployed (or similar environment for trainee roles)
  • Must have NVQ 4 in advice and guidance or hold IAG

Salary and Benefits:


Salary
:
(Level 4 qualified) - Starting at £27,581.00 per annum


(Level 6 qualified) - Starting at £29,703.00 per annum

  • 25 days holiday + stats with option to purchase additional annual leave.
