Description

A brilliant international development organisation that specialises in solving a range of complex issues is in need of a Project Accountant to join its London-based finance team in a newly-created permanent role.

This is an excellent opportunity to joina thriving organisation and work on a number of international projects, contributing towards the improvement of some of the world's most vulnerable people's situations.

As the Project Accountant your role will involve:

Managing the finances of various projects with a focus on growth margin, revenue recognition and month-end cost accruals
Monthly communications with clients
Analysing projects to ensure growth margin is being hit
Reporting to funders as per their specific reporting requirements
Various other project finance related duties

The ideal Project Accountant will be:

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Passionate about international humanitarian issues
Possibly newlyqualified from within an accounting practice and seeking their first role within the sector
Have strong technical finance and MS Excel skills
