Our Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Signalling Technical Assistant to join the team in our Stratford office.

Day to day you will be working in a team of Document Controllers and manage relationships with teams from every part of our business.

You will need strong stakeholder management skills and be highly organised.


This role is based in Stratford, London, and follows our smart working policy, where the minimum expectation is that you would be in an office 2 days per week.

There may be travel required to our other London based offices from time to time.


Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The implementation of Document Management activities across projects in accordance with the Data Management Plan
  • Liaison with internal team, client and subcontractors to resolve queries
  • Archiving of documents and data in accordance with the Data Management Plan
  • To provide Management of all drawing produced by the GTS design team on the 4LM & JNSU projects
  • Management and control of the Engineering Records Management Library
  • Forge and maintain good professional relationship with the London Undergrounds' Engineering Signal Records Manager/Controller
  • Continually check for accuracy, completeness and consistency attaining a high professional standard of service to the appropriate GTS team and London Underground teams.
Technical Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Data Management tools such as Sharepoint, as well as strong MS Office and Adobe skills
  • Able to work with mínimal direction delivering document and data management activities within a challenging environment
  • Awareness of Configuration Control mechanisms and processes
  • Appreciation of Engineering Safety Management
Human Skills

  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication, including good customer service skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to learn and understand the process of controlling our artefacts
  • Strong at working on own initiative and helping to drive the team forward

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Math's or equivalent
  • High standards of numeracy and literacy
