Riverway Foods now part of CPC Group, produces quality sausages, with all our pork sourced from British high welfare farms supplying leading retailers, including Aldi, Lidl and Tesco.


Are you an ambitious planning professional looking to develop your skills in a collaborative, positive and growing organisation? Riverway Foods - Harlow is looking for a new
Scheduling Planner to join it's Planning Department.


The role tasks include the following:

  • Operating a bespoke set of tools tailored to Riverway Foods' requirements
  • Manage customer / commercial forecast using newly developed tools to provide accurate medium range demand data to generate weekly plans
  • MRP Database
  • Encompass the planning of raw materials, packaging and ingredients for specific departments
  • Placing orders and scheduling of incoming deliveries to achieve a 'Just In Time' operation to satisfy customer demand, within parameters of shelf life and MOQ
  • Scheduling of daily work streams to provide an achievable plan
  • Liaising with operational, technical compliance and engineering departments to facilitate production, hygiene and maintenance schedules

Skills Experience required for this role:

  • Experience in a similar role where you are used to dealing with multiple components
  • Ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders


  • Computer literate

  • Excel, MS Office
  • Able to demonstrate a broad business awareness
  • Full training provided to operate and maintain planning tools

What we can offer you:


  • Salary £32,000 £34,000
  • 28 days holiday inc BH
  • Basic working hours between 7am and 5pm with scope for flexibility if the job demands
