A market leading packaging company is seeking a
Stock Controller to join their team in Hampshire.

Your new role
The purpose of a Stock Controller is to be responsible for the day to day functions of the Stock Control and Warehouse Administration area, ensuring that daily tasks are carried out effectively and timely to allow effective operations on site.
You will also be expected to comply and adhere to, and uphold strict Health and Safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the day to day functions of the Stock Control and Warehouse Administration area, ensuring that daily tasks are carried out effectively and timely to allow effective operations on site
Responsible for the controlling of all stock for the site ensuring sufficient stock levels to satisfy changing demands, trends and seasonality.
Take ownership of the stock control function, making it your own and being responsible for the integrity of all stock on site.
Be hands on with the storage of stock, changing materials locations, if needed, and managing the placement of stock within the warehouse to aid goods in and picking efficiencies.
Maintaining an up-to-date database of all Raw Material levels.
Identifying and recording all Raw Material deliveries.
Communicating New Raw Material deliveries to BRC & Compliance manager.
Managing Raw Material Additive Warehouse.
Reporting low stock levels to purchaser.
Maintaining a current database of stock products.
Managing Raw Material Silo deliveries.
Provide a full report on all stock outs on a weekly basis and control the cost of stores inventory
Prepare and provide monthly inventory reports as deemed required by Management
Responsive, responsible and adaptable.
Self-starter, motivated and willing to learn.
Bright and articulate, with good organisation skills.
Able to take instruction, but think and work well independently, as well as within a team, managing own time keeping to resolve issues in a robust fashion.
Ability to prioritise work load and works well under pressure, can react to changes within real time.
Excellent communication skills and methodical thinking.
The ability to carry out administrative tasks, basic mathematics and understand business operations.
Previous experience in previous and/or similar position (s).
Also desired is an ambition and a desire to progress within the business.
What you'll get in return
Full-time permanent contract.
Remuneration will - in any event - start from £22,880 per annum
