Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents such as drawings, specifications and drawing to accurately assess the scope of electrical works.
• Prepare detailed and comprehensive estimates for projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Collaborate with the wider team in house and to make site visits where required to obtain accurate pricing and quotations.
• Analyse and evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotes, negotiate terms and ensure compliance with the project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the project management team to develop budgets and schedules.
• Keep up to date with industry terms, regulations and material costs to ensure accurate pricing and competitive negotiations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations and relevant regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to price tenders for electrical work of varying value and complexities.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical & mathematical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Relevant technical qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field are not necessary but desirable.
