HR Business Partner/ People Consultant/ People Management Team/ Training and Development /HR Projects/ Recruitment/ CIPD Level 5/ Excellent Basic Salary + Car Allowance
This is an excellent time to join a continually growing and evolving business. This opportunity will take the lead in providing a site wide HR and development plan.


I am seeking a CIPD Level 5 HR Specialist/ Business Partner to deliver the People strategy across my clients business unit.

You will provide credible, high-quality coaching, training, and HR advice to people managers to maximise the overall performance ofthe business with a focus on employee development.


This role will initially have a high focus on training and development but will also support managers to manage all aspects of day-to-day business operations and recruitment for the Manchester Business Site.


  • Establish, implement, and embed the learning and development strategy for the Business Unit and align with collaboration the activities related to the Great Place to Work Plan
  • Devise, implement and embed relevant operational skills training including apprenticeships
  • To manage and administer learning management platforms and learning data to support group learning and development plans and activities
  • Drive a highperformance culture across the business unit ensuring plans are in place to develop managers and colleagues with high potential and proactively improve and motivate underperforming employees by providing additional training, etc
  • Drive the Performance Management process and guide managers on consistency and approach
  • Take the lead in driving actions from the annual engagement survey, working closely with managers and their teams to deliver on any action plans.
  • Collaborate with people managers to gain first hand colleague insight and act upon findings
  • Enable and support the business to attract and retain talent and support the Great Place to Work people plan.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team as required to support the business unit workforce planning strategies
  • Drive and role model appropriate Behaviours, Competencies and Values and coach managers and colleagues to do the same
  • Work in partnership with managers to bring each case to an appropriate business conclusion working within Company and legal guidelines
  • Maintain up to date employment law knowledge in line with UK legislation
  • Support and influence managers with the delivery of critical change projects (e.g., reorganisation, culture change, ways of working) to ensure that there is a robust people plan within the change project, taking into account employment law and colleagueexperience where appropriate.

Requirements:


  • Previous HR and Business Partnering experience in a similar capacity (ideally for a multi site organisation)
  • Previous exposure to coaching business managers on best practice
  • Experience of developing and delivering training across a multisite environment
  • Able to successfully demonstrate evidence of business knowledge and commercial awareness in a multisite fieldbased HR advisory and business partner role
  • Able to successfully demonstrate evidence of working with complex employment relations issues
  • Able to successfully demonstrate evidence of managing large scale restructure projects
  • Working knowledge of TUPE legislation and experience of managing acquisition integrations
  • CIPD Level 5 is highly advantageous
  • Evidence of being able to take the lead on pay and T&Cs negotiations and consultations and manage relationships with trade unions where necessary.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Proactive and energetic, with a drive to resolve business issues with pace
  • Current and full Driving License (There may be requirements to attend different business sites)
