We are currently seeking a Procurement professional to join the Clinical Procurement team as a Procurement Specialist

You will be a very motivated professional which will include being responsible for the following:
To develop and lead sourcing strategies for low to medium spend and low to medium risk requirements.

To manage catalogues for their categories and to ensure these are renegotiated before expiring To support cross-functional procurement / sourcing teams to develop and implement category and sourcing strategies for high spend, high risk, complex requirements.

To deliver value to the Trust. To achieve year on year cash releasing and cost avoidance savings.

To ensure policies and operational practices comply with the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs), and relevant legislation and other statutory requirements and that they provide effective procurement of all categories of services and commodities.

To develop an excellent working relationship with all clinical and corporate stakeholders and to ensure that the service provided to internal customers is of a high standard.

To appropriately challenge current supply arrangements. To manage contracts and suppliers for low to medium spend and low to medium risk requirements. To support with re-negotiating contracts, where appropriate
