DM Recruitment are acting as a recruitment agency on behalf of our client based in Scotland looking for a HGV Fitter, responsibilities would be:

Duties:
-4 on 4 off

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Conduct inspections and identify any necessary repairs or replacements
  • Fabricate and weld components as needed
  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts
  • Use hand tools and equipment to complete tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed

  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
  • Proficient in using hand tools and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
  • Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer serviceoriented mindset
Please note that this position may require heavy lifting and digging at times.


Job Types:

Salary:
£32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
