Then, this is the job for you
In role (SENDCo award a pre-requisite), you will need to:

  • Facilitate children with SEND, EAL and/or in receipt of the pupil premium, across the school, to access an appropriate curriculum for them and make academic progress, as appropriate to them
  • Work within the SEND team alongside the Deaf Provision Manager, supported by the SEND Administrator and leading the Teaching Assistant team to impact all aspects of school improvement.
  • Work closely alongside the Leadership Team and work in conjunction with the Co-Headteachers

We are seeking practitioners who are:

  • Experienced, Enthusiastic, Driven, Organised, Motivated and Resilient
  • Strongly interested in the teaching of SEND, EAL and those in receipt of Pupil Premium
  • Able to lead and enthuse others
  • Aware of whole school needs and how to address these
  • Aware of The Code of Practice and good practice in the educational provision for children with SEND and EAL


You must be able to demonstrate evidence of successful leadership, be an excellent classroom practitioner and have extensive experience of teaching children with SEND and EAL within a mainstream school setting.
