Description

Looking for a vibrant workplace with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration? If so, you've come to the right place As a FABRICATOR WELDER in our MANCHESTER PLANT, we'll be looking to you to lead and complete planned and reactive maintenance activities to improve overall plant reliability and performance using best practice maintenance techniques.

Your role will be based from our Trafford Plant, Manchester.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

Welding (Tig, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel)
Sheet metal worker bias with general fabrication skills both in stainless steel and carbon steel including some pipe work
Capable of scoping, measuring and ordering of materials
Ensure all work undertaken complies with all relevant safety, food safety and quality legislation and with Kellogg's Internal Plant standards
Support the plant operations team to resolve equipment issues impacting plant performance, maximising equipment availability
Completes Planned Reliability Maintenance Inspections and Tasks while Supporting reactive maintenance and fault finding
Participates in practical problem solving RCA, 6W2H, owning actions to prevent source of loss reoccurring
Is knowledgeable about plant performance, shutdown plan and weekly plan progress. Collaborating with team to ensure plan is completed in a timely and effective manner
Your Recipe for Success

A recognised time served apprenticeship including substantial experience in fitting, welding, fabrication, pipe fitting and has good knowledge of service systems (steam, air and gas)
Able to demonstrate experience of working within the maintenance function of an FMCG plant food environment
Able to communicate at all levels within the plant
Computer literate with experience of the Microsoft Office software suite and SAP
