Mayfield House is a residential care home providing care to older adults. Home has 30 bedrooms. We provide care to people living with dementia and other physical or mental health conditions.

Mayfield House is situated next to Walton-on Thames train station and has excellent public transport links. There is a free parking for staff.

Mayfield House has been recently acquired by a new owner A Welcome House Ltd. We are looking to employ a full-time experienced Team Leader to manage and lead our care team.

We are looking for a focused and proactive individual who has at least 2 years experience in care home staff management.

You will be working with our care team, supporting them to deliver good care. You will oversee day to day running of the home alongside the Registered Manager. Your role will include delegating care work on the floor, medication administration, managing medication cycle in the home. You will arrange appropriate health professional appointments to attend to residents health needs in a timely manner. You will use electronic care planning system to record daily notes, create and review residents care plans.

Your role will include supporting new staff with their induction, staff supervisions, some of the home's audits and shared on-call duties with the Manager.

Salary:
£11.00-£14.00 per hour
