As a Human Resource Intern working with our HR team, you'll be part of a team that's doing incredible things - for ourselves, for the partners we work with, and for a truly sustainable future.


Your new role:

What you'll do:

As an HR Intern, you will work with local and regional HR Advisors to provide administrative assistance and support surrounding HR and people related activities


Your key responsibilities include:

  • To learn and support the HR team to ensure people records are managed accurately and in realtime to ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Use Project Management skills and HR knowledge to manage your projects to completion.
  • Work proactively to support Employee Relations queries.
  • Support the processing of all contract amendments, leavers' paperwork, referencing, probationary periods and raise any issues from analysis.
  • Attend and contribute to interns' programme.
  • Any other relevant duties and projects that may be assigned by the Regional HR Advisor over the 3 months.

What you'll need:


  • Currently enrolled in their final year in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Selfmanaged with excellent organisational skills
  • Problem solving ability and exceptional attention to detail
  • To be an individual who embraces change
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and adjust to changing priorities
  • Resourceful, decisive, autonomous and accountable
  • Strong relationship builder with high levels of emotional intelligence
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload whilst considering the wider business impact
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, advanced with PowerPoint and use of Teams

About you:

Your Internship with Robertson will give you the perfect opportunity to turn academic theory into practise.

The 12-week programme is designed to give you an insight into a multi-discipline HR team works withing an environmental organisation.

The experience will allow you to kickstart your career choose your career path whilst on your academic break.
