Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Application Specialist working in our IT Development department.

In addition, the role will act as a business analyst to help the company implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way, by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, developers and externalpartners

To be considered for this role you will need proven experience of working in financial services. The job holder will have knowledge of ITIL (IT management) processes and a high level of numeracy.

They will have generic Investment and Regulatory knowledge,knowledge of the markets in which the firm is active and the data, systems and processes which these involve.

Knowledge of methods to obtain and analyse financial data (e.g. Interactive Data) would be advantageous.

The job holder is likely to have a relevant (IT related) degree e.g. Computer Science (CS) or combined CS and Business degree or at least a maths or science degree.


Hybrid working - up to 80% WFH although you will have to be able to visit the head office once a week in Southampton.

Experience of Iress software - Pulse and/ or Symphny

SQL/ Excel (advanced) skills
