+ Escort and supervise contractors working in live clinical areas ensuring compliance with infection control confidentiality security and safeguarding requirements.+ Maintain awareness that patients and service users may engage with staff including through inquisitive distressed or occasionally aggressive behaviour.+ Respond calmly and appropriately following Trust procedures and seeking support from ward staff when required+ Promote a respectful reassuring presence helping to minimise disruption to patient care during estates activities+ Liaise with Ward staff to ensure areas of work are agreed to safeguard patients and contractors working areas+ Ensure the contractors are following Ward requirements for working and that they are working in line with their Risk Method Statements.
