Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Housekeeper to join our newly established and professional team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness over various properties, but primarily Rìgh Residences.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing
- Provide a high level of cleanliness and housekeeping service within public area and back of house areas as per to the hotel's standards.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Keep stock rooms tidy and report stock shortages to management
- Empty bins and dispose of waste properly
- Prepare the Lounge area for breakfast in the morning
- Organise and deal with all activities around the clean and used linen unpacking the fresh linen and packing the used one
- Assist the Housekeeping team with the periodic cleaning and laundering of all aspects of the housekeeping function including blinds, curtains, bed covers, duvets, carpets, furniture
- Respond to all Guest requests such as bringing extra pillow, open baby cots, etc
- Assist the Housekeeping team with room cleans when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is essential
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Friendly and professional demeanour.
- Be presentable and wear correct uniform whilst on duty.
Working Hours:
Flexibility to cover Day and Evening Shift patterns
Day Shift 7am
- 2.30pm
- 9.30pm
Salary:
£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
