Assistant Management Accountant (Part-Qual) | High Growth Business | East Leeds | £30,000 - £40,000

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with an expanding business based in North Leeds in their search for a strong Management Accountant to join their team permanently.

The role is newly created within a well-established team of 6, working closely with the highly experienced Head of Finance to produce management accounts for 5 businesses within the group.

As the business has clear and ambitious growth plans, you'll havethe opportunity to progress quickly within the organisation and be empowered to take on more responsibility.

Duties will include:

Production of the monthly management accounts for 5 business units with variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecasts
Sharing financial results and analysis with the business and answering queries
Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation and support for internal and external audits
Costings analysis and sales margin reporting

Person:

Partqualified (ACCA/CIMA) or AAT 3/
Demonstrable experience within a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role
Sage 50 experience would be preferred, however strong MS Excel (SumIFs/Vlookups/Pivots) key to be successful in the role
