Smile Education is a leading recruitment service for schools in the West Midlands. An educational setting within the Birmingham Area is currently looking for an SEN Teacher to start in October.

About the Role:

Supporting students aged 11yrs in Ks1/Ks2 with severe and complex learning difficulties
You will be providing activities that cater to needs of the child
You will work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants and other staff to ensure the child is receiving the correct level of support
You will be using the National Curriculum to deliver tailored educational programmes to suit the young people in your class

The school provides effective assessment of learning
This Birmingham school caters for 87 young people aged from 311years with severe and complex learning difficulties

About You:

You have 12 months experience working with SEN children or working in SEN schools
You will have a UK QTS or equivalent
You are a patient individual who has a good understanding of the service and complex needs of students
Having experience working within a mainstream school and looking to move into a SEN school would be considered
