As the HR Admin, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our people operations, ensuring the smooth running of our talented team.

From administrational support on a wide range of HR processes to fostering a positive company culture, you'll be at the forefront of it all.

Your dedication to supporting our employees will be evident as you provide them with the guidance they need to succeed.

In this role, you'll also be responsible for maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) support with company events, updating internal databases and ensuring compliance with UK employment laws. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be key as you navigate through various tasks.


The main areas of responsibility for this role include:

  • Organise and maintain employee records, including updating personal information, tracking absences and annual leave, and managing documentation
  • Update HRIS and Internal systems
  • Prepare HR documents and letters, such as offer letters, contracts, references and meeting notes
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager and Line Managers to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
  • Provide support on HR projects and initiatives, such as, company events, training and development
  • Respond to employee general inquiries and requests regarding HR policies, procedures, and processes
  • Generate HRrelated reports and metrics as needed
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Complete ONS Labour Force survey
  • Support the HR Manager with amending and communicating HR policies and procedures
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules)
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation for new employees when applicable

What you'll need:


  • Proven work experience as an Administrator, preferably within HR
  • Possess excellent written, oral, and listening skills, alongside the ability to develop strong relationships with employees and Managers at all levels of the business
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and letter writing skills
  • Hold sound Microsoft Office knowledge including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Have an understanding and interest in UK employment law
  • Be selfmotivated, proactive, and confident working autonomously
  • Possess a high degree of integrity and want to always do what is right for the business and its employees
  • Enjoy multitasking and be able to prioritise appropriately
  • A love of working with people, to be reliable and very approachable

What are the hours and location for this role?
We are ideally looking for someone to work 4 full days a week from 9am-5.30pm during Monday to Friday.

Initially all days will be office based in Cambourne whilst you settle into the role, moving to a hybrid working mix working once trained working three days in the office and one day from home.
