Description

Metalis are working with a
leading packaging manufacturer who are looking to add to their team by recruiting for a
permanent electrical engineer.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well established growing company in their field.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct maintenance to plant site wide, including following existing maintenance plan and equipment and new installation of systems
  • Involvement in Projects from concept through to design, installation and commissioning
  • Minimising downtime and increasing productivity by responding to breakdowns in an efficient manor and recording on relevant documentation
  • Improving current systems on site such as required spares, drawings and other technical documentation
  • Working with and reviewing current safety systems on site and complying with all legislation, regulations and Company rules
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested within skill set
  • Apprentice trained
  • Technical knowledge and capability to handle the Electrical/Mechanical engineering activities of their plant.
  • Experience in HV/MV/LV electrical distribution systems, switchgear and transformers.
  • Experience with power distribution, emergency generators and UPS

Shifts:


A shift pattern of mornings and afternoons, conducting 3 weeks of morning and 1 week of afternoons on a rotation.

Morning shift - 6am - 2pm

Afternoon shift - 12pm - 8pm
