Do you have AutoCAD experience?

Have you got a background in Timber/Construction based design?
Due to an expansion our client, a leading timber manufacturer is looking to recruit a Timber Frame Designer to join their dedicated growing team

This fantastic opportunity would suit someone who is passionate about timber manufacturing and has had experience using AutoCAD software

You will be working Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Due to the remote location, own transport will be required.

Duties and responsibilities Timber Frame Designer

Follow different drawings (training will be given)
You will be able to follow direction well and demonstrate a good eye to detail
Preparation of full design drawings for client approval.
Completion of cutting lists, schedules and design drawings for manufacture and site

- construction.

Provide technical assistance and direction to onsite erection teams and client queries.

Skills and experience

Excellent numerical and communication skills required for the role
Good attention to detail and a 'get it right first time' attitude.
A dedicated, trustworthy, reliable and honest individual with a passion for timber engineering & construction.
Good understanding of construction details.
Excellent team working skills.
Previous experience in timber frame software (Consultec, MiTek, Wolf, ITW)
Experience in AutoCAD at any level is essential.
