Description

Duties

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of MIG welding techniques
Welding Axle's
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine welding specifications
Measure and mark workpieces using rulers, squares, or templates to ensure accurate assembly
Operate power tools such as grinders, drills, and saws to prepare materials for welding
Set up and operate welding equipment according to specified parameters and safety guidelines
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using MIG welding techniques
Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary repairs or adjustments as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding or a related field
Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG welding and stick welding
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and procedures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Experience operating power tools and hand tools commonly used in metal fabrication
