REED are exclusively working with a leading organisation in King's Lynn, recruiting for the position of
General Manager to join the team.


Role Objectives:


  • Develop and enhance a profitable program which meets the business's market needs, whilst further developing existing projects, product ideas and partnerships.
  • Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge and skill areas.
  • Managing all activities of the business whilst ensuring bottomline profitability.

Responsibilities:


  • The effective running of all Sales & Marketing operations whilst developing new business opportunities.
  • Preparation and implementation of financial plans and budgets, and monitoring of progress will be required to ensure the Company attains it's objectives efficiently from a financial perspective.
  • Providing advice to the Board of Directors, plan costeffective business strategies and develop innovative ideas.
  • Supervising managers and supervisors, providing leadership and motivation to all employees.
  • The implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the Company complies with all legal, safety and other statutory regulations.
  • Management of telesales, customer service and sales agent operations.
  • Ensuring all direct electronic mailing and social medias are delivered according to the Company's marketing plan.
  • The preparation of annual sales, costing and capital budgets for all activities within the Company and reporting to the Board.
  • Recommending key decisions regarding the organisation and being accountable for those decisions.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in a senior managerial role.
  • An indepth understanding of productivity management and how to implement change to improve profitability levels.
  • At least five year's senior level experience of management of people and resources.
  • Strong decisionmaking capabilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain financial plans and a good understanding of financial management.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities combined with excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead people.
  • Degree educated or other relevant industry qualifications preferred.

  • Salary of £60,000 £80,000 dependant on experience
