REED are exclusively working with a leading organisation in King's Lynn, recruiting for the position of
General Manager to join the team.
Role Objectives:
- Develop and enhance a profitable program which meets the business's market needs, whilst further developing existing projects, product ideas and partnerships.
- Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships.
- Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge and skill areas.
- Managing all activities of the business whilst ensuring bottomline profitability.
Responsibilities:
- The effective running of all Sales & Marketing operations whilst developing new business opportunities.
- Preparation and implementation of financial plans and budgets, and monitoring of progress will be required to ensure the Company attains it's objectives efficiently from a financial perspective.
- Providing advice to the Board of Directors, plan costeffective business strategies and develop innovative ideas.
- Supervising managers and supervisors, providing leadership and motivation to all employees.
- The implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the Company complies with all legal, safety and other statutory regulations.
- Management of telesales, customer service and sales agent operations.
- Ensuring all direct electronic mailing and social medias are delivered according to the Company's marketing plan.
- The preparation of annual sales, costing and capital budgets for all activities within the Company and reporting to the Board.
- Recommending key decisions regarding the organisation and being accountable for those decisions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior managerial role.
- An indepth understanding of productivity management and how to implement change to improve profitability levels.
- At least five year's senior level experience of management of people and resources.
- Strong decisionmaking capabilities.
- Ability to develop and maintain financial plans and a good understanding of financial management.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities combined with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead people.
- Degree educated or other relevant industry qualifications preferred.
Package
- Salary of £60,000 £80,000 dependant on experience
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
