We have a unique opportunity to work as Finance Director for an exciting group of businesses who are currently going through large-scale investment and growth.


To be based in Royal Wootton Bassett, this role is offering a salary of c£60,000 p/a alongside great company benefits, this is the ideal opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager looking for their next challenge.


As Finance Director you'll be responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the company's finance department and ensuring the company meets it's financial and legal obligations.

You will create and maintain best practice; reporting, procedures and policies,and support the business with risk and compliance.


As Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the senior management team, developing financial and commercial strategy by creating a group business plan
  • Managing cash flow
  • Preparing monthly management accounts for the company and its subsidiaries
  • Overseeing reporting, forecasting and budgeting via the finance team
  • Offering support on tax, audit and risk
  • Managing external relationships with banks, auditors, lenders and finance consultants
  • Management of processes and controls
  • Onboarding and management of finance systems

We would love to hear from you if you have the following

  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience with commerciality, stakeholders and board members
  • Demonstratable experience in a financial management role (essential)
  • Experience in effective cost control (essential)
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • The ability to think strategically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

More about the role
You will be the connection between the finance team and the company's directors. You'll have the opportunity to take the lead on strategy whilst overseeing the financial functions of the business.


This is a hands-on Finance role and you will use your financial insight to help the organisation hit targets and develop best practice procedures.

Our client is offering up to £60,000 with profit share opportunities for this role. To be considered, you must be local to Royal Wootton Bassett and have all required qualifications.
