JOB PURPOSE


Reporting to the Head of Visual Merchandising, you will be the ambassador and the customer facing representative across the whole portfolio of brands within the Movado Group.

Predominantly field based within a designated area, your main responsibility is to uphold standards set by both Movado and our partner brands in order that we maximize sales growth within our key retailers.

This role encompasses responsibilities across the Scotland and Northern Ireland regions.


JOB RESPONSABILITIES / ROLES- Implement the merchandising directives and policies as specified from our partner brand/ Movado own brands.- Create and build mutual trust with our retail partners so that you are the main point of contact.- Participate in the deployment of marketing collateral in our point-of-sale distribution and control their successful completion.- Train and support in store teams on brand product knowledge, marketing initiatives and current activity.- Observe and analyse competition, trends, and market developments- Provide daily activity reports and other useful information- Accurate journey planning and managing your time effectively to maximise activity in the field.- AS this is a field-based role it is often necessary to stay overnight away from home if more than 2 hours away.- Monthly 1-2-1's with your line manager where you will demonstrate a good understanding of activity in your area and can share positive success's as well as challenges.- The visual merchandising team manage in its entirety the visual assets as directed by the brands.

Ranging from managing master data to liaising with suppliers, you will have the responsibility to play an active role in the successful rollout of seasonal campaigns.- Managing display inventory within your designated area to maintain the high standards befitting of the brands we work with.

With a keen eye on costs, you will have complete autonomy of the ordering process right through to implementation.- Managing expenses provided to you and that they are accurately documented and are submitted within the specified time frame.


REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS- With a background in Merchandising, you have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in the watchmaking and jewellery industry,- You are creative, enthusiastic and enjoy sharing innovative ideas and contributing to a good team spirit.- Ability to be flexible and travel outside of your area where business needs require.- Rigorous and organized, you can ideally demonstrate a good understanding of Microsoft Office with emphasis on the use of Excel / PowerPoint- Teams and related video calling software- SAP- Adobe Photoshop- Your energy and your sense of aesthetics are major assets to succeed in this position.
