Assembly Operative and Store/Despatch Assistant - Temp to perm £10.22 per hour equivalent to £21k per annum

Primarily working within the Production Department assembling a range of electro-mechanical units and electronic circuit boards to form high quality products.

When required, assisting within the Stores Department kitting for production assembly and receiving goods into stock.

As required, assisting within the Despatch Department packing and despatching products for shipment to our UK, USA and overseas customers.

The main duties of the position are as follows:

Assembling and wiring electro-mechanical units.
Assembling and soldering electronic components into printed circuit boards.
Carrying out goods inwards duties.
Picking component parts to form both electronic and mechanical subassembly kits.
Packing and completing documentation to ensure that goods are despatched according to the Shipping Schedule.
Carrying out delivery and collection of locally manufactured parts.
Carrying out other tasks as may be reasonably required.

As an addition for this role, you must hold a full driving licence as at times you may be required to use the company van for deliveries / collections from local suppliers.

The hours for this role are Monday to Thursday 08:15am - 16:45pm and Friday 08:15am pm with a half hour for lunch - a total of 39.5 hours per week.

You will have previous experience having worked in a similar position.
