We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team and lead our technical delivery and really make a difference, to us, to our team and to our clients.

What will you be doing?

As the Lead Consultant for Cloud & More you will be responsible for all aspects of our technical delivery; identification of new technologies, assessing technologies, preparing and delivering internal training, mentoring the technical team, planning for and delivering client projects and leading a select number of clients in their use of technology.

You will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs, identify solutions, and ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of IT services.

This is a hands-on technical role operating as part of the team, delivering onsite support, projects, and consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

Technically mentor a team of consultants and service desk technicians, fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
Act as the ultimate point of escalation on technical issues, project management, and client interaction.

Client Engagement:

Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their business goals, and aligning IT solutions to meet those objectives.
Delivering hands on technical support and consultancy to key clients to a 3rd line level.
Preparing and presenting technical proposals for clients.
To assist with the onboarding of new clients, reviewing IT infrastructures and providing recommendations.
Producing and updating client road maps and sharing these where needed with the wider business

Solution Design and Implementation:

Collaborate with clients to assess their IT needs and develop tailored solutions.
Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring successful implementation within scope, budget, and timeline.
Creation of recommendations documents, project plans, IT Roadmaps, and policy documents.

Technical Expertise:

Indepth knowledge and experience of Windows Server environments, virtualisation, VMware, Microsoft 365, Networking (WAN/LAN) to a 3rd line level.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide thought leadership to both internal teams and clients.
Assist in resolving complex technical issues and act as an escalation point for the team.

Service Improvement:

Continuously assess and improve the quality and efficiency of Cloud & More's offerings.
Implement best practices to optimise service delivery and client satisfaction.

Technology selection and assessment

Conduct a comprehensive review and analysis of Cloud & More's existing product portfolio and technology stack.
Evaluate the effectiveness, relevance, and alignment with industry standards to identify areas for improvement.
Establish and maintain standardised operating procedures for approved technologies within the organisation.
Document best practices, workflows, and guidelines to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across the implementation and maintenance of technology solutions.
Lead the identification and evaluation of new technologies that have the potential to enhance both internal operations and client services.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking opportunities to enhance technology solutions and procedures.
