Maintenance Continuous Improvement Manager / Residential Site Manager
Coalville, Leicestershire

To £55k + £4k bonus + car + exceptional benefits package


Our client is recognized as one of the UK's market leaders in the area of automated materials handling solutions, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced MaintenanceContinuous Improvement Manager to complement their established and successful existing team in their Coalville based Distribution Centre.


With a demonstrable background in automation and control systems allied to the automated warehousing and distribution solutions sector, you will ensure that the preparation and maintenance takes place of associated quality assurance records, H&S records,inspections, and training and will arrange additional support from the regional support team as and when necessary.


Ensuring the monitoring of and compliance with all H&S, company, customer and legal requirements at all times, you will ensure training is provided to all staff as required and to maintain and develop relevant skill levels whilst achieving and exceedingsite financial targets and budgets, utilising your excellent man management skills to enhance the teams capabilities and demonstrating team leadership by motivation, team development and fairness.


Other responsibilities will include managing the company's site maintenance operation and ensuring that the commitments of the support agreement are achieved, and both maintaining and enhancing the H&S and Continuous Improvement culture within the site team.


You will build and sustain a healthy relationship with the customer's management team by working closely with the Operations Manager to drive system/operational improvements and will have the authority to initiate actions to eliminate poor processes andquality system non-conformities, using your analytical skills to investigate system under-performance and communicating this to the customer on a daily basis, utilising your ability to interrogate the WMS to provide data analysis of reliability and performanceand support continuous improvement activities.
