Management Accountant - Doncaster - £40,000 + Hybrid

Management Accountant Responsibilities:

Completing monthly and quarterly management accounts for specified companies including narrative, interpretation and recommendations
Assisting with the production of UK company statutory accounts in line with government requirements
Providing help with the preparation of draft tax computations, deferred tax etc for the UK area for the quarterly and annual accounts
Assisting with Corporate Governance Issues
Sarbanes-Oxley 'type' reporting (ISOX) and internal audit
Getting involved in the budgeting process
Maintenance of IFRS16 lease process and quarterly HQ reporting for the UK companies
Ensuring all VAT and Tax obligations are fully met
Working with external advisors and professionals including tax advisors, auditors and accountants

Required Skills & Experience:

Be a technically strong accountant who can take ownership of the accounts production
Later stages PQ or Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
Good working knowledge of financial statements, tax and VAT
IT Literate including ERP systems and strong excel
This is the ideal role for someone wanting to make a first or second move into industry, although manufacturing/ engineering sector experience is ideal
