Description

The Corporate Governance Function are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your skills and understanding of Quality Governance, Compliance and Assurance.

The post holder will work with Central Functions and Care Groups to deliver governance systems and processes including those for risk management, audit, policies and compliance.

The post holder will be self motivated, a good communicator and demonstrate effective organisational skills in working to deadlines.

This role will require the post holder to work autonomously in managing the workload and priorities to deliver the objectives of the function.

Support the Head of Quality Assurance & Compliance with:

the delivery and co-ordination of all aspects of regulatory, statutory and legislative compliance in accordance with the principles of Corporate Governance and Risk e.g. ensuring that there is a robust process for receiving, logging and reporting on Declarations of Interest, Ministerial Directions, and Welsh Health Circulars.

- the management of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) wide Clinical and Non Clinical policies and procedures across the organisation, including the maintenance of a policies database and supporting the process to ensure appropriate consultation on the development of policies.
- its ongoing development and implementation of the Health Board's corporate governance and risk management processes including the Board's Assurance Framework, ensuring due compliance with all statutory requirements and the triangulation of risk, performance and assurance. This includes the establishment of scheduling key meetings with Executive Directors, managing the updates through Datix and the Organisational Risk Register as appropriate.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
