We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team and work in primary schools across Nottingham.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and promoting a conducive learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
- Provide oneonone support to students who require additional help with their learning.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and help implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and other school activities.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
- Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or experience as a TA
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students and schools.
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
