We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team and work in primary schools across Nottingham.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and promoting a conducive learning environment for students.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
  • Provide oneonone support to students who require additional help with their learning.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and help implement individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and other school activities.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:


  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or experience as a TA
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students and schools.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
