As a Barclays Controls and Regulatory Engagement, you will work as a team member within our Wholesale Onboarding and Group.

You will provide the technology infrastructure to support the services defined by the Group wide Financial Crime Target Operating Model, providing critical protection from Financial Crime Risks.

Driving the improvement in client onboarding cycle times and experience.

The Controls and Regulatory Engagement function will leverage the existing Barclays framework to provide a single point of engagement and coordination.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:

Assisting concurrent and complex engagements in a structured and transparent way across various systems, data types and groups of stakeholders
Providing coordination across functions for the multiple Regulatory deliverables (exams, requests, queries etc.)
Working across a matrixed set of resources which sit in other teams and functions
Maintaining of a sustainable governance and processes to provide oversight and transparency of TC01 Wholesale Onboarding and Group Fin Crime Ops Tech
Engaging with Barclays stakeholders and governance forums as appropriate to communicate the status of key Corporate Technology Regulatory Programs
Delivering outcomes to the regulatory programs impacting TC01 Tech to monitor quality and timeliness of project completion and escalate delivery risks to senior stakeholders
Identifying and supporting implementation of continuous improvement and best practices in the change delivery life cycle within and across programs

What we're looking for:

Extensive financial services experience preferably within technology environments and with management of Audit/ risk/ governance/compliance
Experience in project/ portfolio management, operations or strategy and the products and services, offered by complex financial institutions preferably US regulated entities
Experience in Project or program delivery in a multifunction/business space in a matrixed environment experience with basic understanding of both the regulatory frameworks

Skills that will help you in the role:

Experience working on technology, operations and regulatory projects with knowledge and adherence to program and change management processes and methodology
Solid stakeholder management and influencing skills
Ability to analyze a problem and identify potential solutions by exploring and analyzing diverse alternatives, including, where applicable, risks and potential business impact
Consistently demonstrates integrity, fairness and professional conduct

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.

The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
