Description

Graham's the Family Dairy are seeking to recruit a permanent, full-time, nightshift, HGV Mechanic to maintain, inspect, repair and service the Company's fleet of HGV & light good vehicles.


Work pattern:
Sunday to Thursday, nightshift, starting time to be discussed.


The role will include the following;

  • To maintain, inspect, repair and service the Company's vehicles.
  • Carry out periodic safety inspections to all HGV vehicles to VOSA inspection manual standards.
  • Carry out fault diagnosis.
  • To attend broken down or accident damaged vehicles and carry out permanent or running repairs as required.
  • To complete associated paperwork to ensure that all statistics and legal information are produced.
  • To ensure that all relevant legislation and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
The role will involve driving vehicles, so you must hold a valid driving license and be willing to drive. HGV license desirable but not essential.

Salary will be dependent on experience.
