Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and target potential partners in the UK retail industry. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and convert them into key accounts to achieve sales targets.
- Strategic Partnerships: Forge strong relationships with industry leaders and decisionmakers to establish longterm partnerships. Understand partner needs and trends to tailor propositions that meet their business objectives.
- Sales Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with company goals. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies as necessary.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales team to exceed their targets. Provide training and development to enhance their skills and knowledge in retail print and packaging solutions.
- Client Management: Maintain excellent service standards and build strategic relationships with new and existing clients. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and potential growth areas to the senior management team. Utilize datadriven insights to guide business decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales leadership within the print and packaging industry, preferably in the retail sector.
- Strong understanding of the UK retail market and its regulatory landscape.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and expanding business operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in sustainable packaging solutions and innovations.
- Connections with UK retailers and print/packaging companies for collaboration
