This is a 2-year apprenticeship contract with a gauranteed permanent position within our team on successful completion of your qualification.


As a HR Apprentice, you'll develop the administrative skills and knowledge needed for a thriving career either in HR or wider business.

You don't need to have previous experience. What's most important is that you're self-motivated and approach your work in a methodical way. In return, you'll get plenty of support and encouragement from our friendly team.

In this role, you'll assist managers with the roll out of our larger apprenticeship strategy across our business.

You'll help with the planning and preparation for new apprenticeships and development programmes across our organisation; ensure documentation is being updated and you'll collect information from new starters.

You'll also get involved with other administrative tasks within the HR team. Either way, you'll show that you're dependable, adaptable and enjoy seeing tasks through to completion.

In return, you'll study towards the well respected Level 3 HR Support or Business Administration qualification.

This is a structured programme where you'll spend equivalent to 1 day studying and 4 days per week learning whilst performing the role.

You can rest assured, you'll get plenty of guidance and coaching along the way.

The aim is that you'll be working towards securing a permanent position within the business on completion of the 2 year contract.

What will you mainly be responsible for delivering?

  • You'll provide administrative support to the OD Specialist in implementing our Apprenticeship Strategy right across the business.
  • You'll assist the OD Specialistr with apprenticeship programme planning and preparation.
  • You'll collate all required apprenticeship information for new apprentices.
  • You'll ensure all apprenticeship documentation is up to date.
  • You'll assist with recruitment process for the apprentices.
  • You'll carry out all the necessary administration with regards to apprenticeship activities.
  • You'll provide first line of support and advice to managers around the business.
  • You'll help to update the intranet and Company website on vacancies and HR news.
  • You'll provide any support to the HR department, including coordinating one off and regular events.
  • You'll complete a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard.

  • You'll be selfmotivated, passionate and highly organised in your approach
  • You'll have a Grade 4 or above (pass) in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
  • You'll have good IT / computer literacy skills
  • You'll have a passion for helping others and delivering the best possible service.
  • You have excellent time management abilities to complete the apprenticeship.
  • You're confident speaking with others and engaging with new and different people.
