Trade Effectiveness Consultant

Berkshire/Hybrid - 1 to 2 days in the office a month
Salary Negotiable to £55,000 DoE plus car allowance £5,500 & bonus

  • Main role responsibilities:
  • Taking responsibility for ad hoc and contracted client assortment projects ensuring quality delivery by self and offshore modelling team
  • To be responsible for scoping, managing, and implementing analyses to address clients' business issues.
  • Review and provide feedback on both modelling inputs and outputs.
  • Continue the strong collaborative working relationship with the offshore modelling team.
  • Prepare and deliver insightful, high value client presentations.
  • Provide training on the bespoke assortment software solutions.
  • Knowledge of CPG/FMCG, retail and analytics sector on range and assortment.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Functional Expertise and Experience:
  • Solid, relevant market research and FMCG industry experience.
  • Previous experience within an agency specialising in analytics is highly desirable for this role.
  • A proven track record of interpreting data.
  • High understanding of FMCG industry and trends.
  • Applicants do not need to have a statistical background to apply, but must have strong analytical skills.
  • Project Management and interpersonal Skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and resolve problems in a highly clientfocused fashion.
  • Decisive, able to cut through complexity to move things forward.
