Description
Petrofac is seeking a Decommissioning Project Management Contractor for 12 months based in Aberdeen, UK.The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.
Services to be supported during the duration of the contract are detailed below. A requirement to undertake additional services shall be mutually agreed by way of contract amendment.
- The contractor will be responsible for carrying out assigned work with particular emphasis on QHSE performance and costeffective delivery.
- Responsible for performing all duties with due regard to the health, safety of self, others and of the environment in which they are undertaken.
- Responsible for safely achieving project objectives.
- Liaise with all members of the project team to ensure that objectives for the project are defined and fully understoof.
- Input to, review and approve all project deliverables in accordance with the Petrofac Project Delivery Process.
Deliverables:
- Project focal point throughout the Project Delivery Process, with technical authority for project control, technical assurance, and reporting.
- Ensure project progress adheres to agreed costs and schedules while coordinating with relevant parties, such as Client, thirdparty service providers, or internal stakeholders, to ensure that they are kept informed of project performance and progress.
- Lead the analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of areas of deviation from estimate within the project.
- Work to the project interface management plan to maintain the alignment of Client and Petrofac processes during the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement the HES and commercial risk and opportunity management process.
- Recognise the Decommissioning Business Management System.
- Technically review and approve project controls, execution and communications plans.
- Technically review and assure the risk and opportunity registers.
- Plan key project milestones, such as Risk Assessments, HAZOPs and HAZIDs.
- Business performance improvement consultation by for example the gathering of and approval of lessons learned and the close out of the respective actions within Turus.
- Support of audit and assurance activities where required throughout the project delivery process.
- Liaise with service providers to ensure quality of service and to drive integration and communication between the various service providers.
- Investigate all incidents in accordance with the Petrofac process. Agree and expedite corrective actions resulting from any incident and accident report.
- Technical review of project call offs and invoices.
- Responsible for ensuring the Petrofac Client is consulted and/or informed throughout the work scope including via regular (weekly) formal reporting and progress meetings as per Petrofac best practice.
- Coordinating all external (supplier and Client, etc) and internal (Petrofac Decommissioning technical and functional support, etc) stakeholders with respect to achieving project objectives.
