We are recruiting for a Clinical Deputy Manager, for a purpose-built Nursing Home, based in Loughborough.

This role is role is a Monday to Friday role mainly, with shift cover when required.


We are looking for Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN, RMN or RNLD) to join the clinical team in delivering the highest standard of Nursing care to residents within this Nursing Home.


The home is medium sized Nursing Home, which provides care and support to Residential residents, people living with Dementia and who require Nursing care.


This home is ideally located on one of the main routes in & out of Loughborough, the train station is with 10 minute walk and on a main bus route from Loughborough to.


This Clinical Deputy Manager role, your tasks will include, but not restricted too:

  • Responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of person
- centred care are always delivered.

  • Ensuring that the electronic care system has comprehensive, individualised care plans in place which are regularly reviewed and evaluated in accordance with NMC and company policy
  • Administering medication, surgical dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and the management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Assist and deal with preplanned treatments of patients and emergency situations
  • Observing and carrying out appropriate handovers to ensure the detail and accuracy of resident information being provided.
  • Be responsible for leading and supervising the care team and offering support and guidance particularly in relation to the induction and mentoring of new staff.
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Mental health Nurse (RNM) or Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) with a Valid NMC Pin
  • Experienced in working with the Elderly, people living with Dementia in a home or wardbased setting
  • Someone who is passionate in delivering person centred care
  • Knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations and the legislative and regulatory framework.
